Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Chocolate frosting and chocolate chips for decoration
Preparation Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix until well combined.
Carefully stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Frost with chocolate frosting and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
